Waterfall was low, but to be expected when we haven't had much rain. The water hole itself was full and great for cooling off in that 40⁰ heat we were having. Plenty of shade! Easy walk down with the new steps, be prepared for going back up! It's not a long walk and plenty of oldies were doing it. Lots of flies (typical of Aussie bush) so pack the spray. Take a picnic blanket for the ground.
Very well maintained stairs for easy access. Nice swimming hole, but not much water coming over the falls when we were there.
Beautiful, quiet, tranquil location.
Quite a few steps to get to the falls, but well worth the effort
Stopped here for a cool down after going to the Kingaroy swap meet. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive. Lovely spot to go for a swim and explore the area for a bit. Was a little busy at the time but got less busy towards the afternoon. Also great place to have a picnic and hang out fora bit
Great spot for a swim, and great scenery. The steep slope down to the pool at the bottom of the Falls is now a simple task since the steps were built (but be aware - you have to climb back up them to get back to the road, and there are lots of them!) The Falls were magnificent following the recent rain.
Great day trip. Picturesque picnic area with easy access to falls. Small amount of hiking to get behind falls and see a different view. Water temperature is very cool even in the hot weather. Good place to stop if you just want to take a driving break and a quick dip.
Amazing swimming hole, beautiful area.
Lovely little spot to get a cool off on a hot day
